Cheri Locker

I began my State Farm journey on October 1, 1991. At the time, I was working under my father-in-law, who was also an agent. I quickly realized how much I loved helping people navigate the complexities of insurance, and it wasn’t long before I knew I wanted to open my own agency. Building something of my own and doing it right here in Grand Ledge has been one of the greatest parts of my life.

I grew up in the Kalamazoo area and part time in California, but Grand Ledge is where I have built my roots. It’s where I raised my kids, built my business, and created relationships that span generations. This community means so much to me, and I’m grateful every day to be a part of it.

From the very beginning, my husband Rob has been by my side helping grow this agency. These days, he still works part time in the office, focusing on the claims side of things and making sure our customers feel supported during some of life’s most stressful moments. We truly believe in doing the right thing always and we carry that belief into every conversation and every decision we make. Insurance can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to feel that way. I’m here to help make things clear, understandable, and tailored to your life—whether you’re protecting your first home, your family vehicle, or the future.

When not in the office, Rob and I love to travel, ski, and bike together. I also enjoy winding down with a good mystery novel. And if you’re looking for a great local dinner spot, there’s a good chance you’ll catch us at Cancun Mexican Grill, our favorite!
